VP SALES & MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company’s long-term objectives. Coordinate with the Executive Team to build out annual business plans and growth targets.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for market expansion and diversification. Spearhead’s initiative to enter new markets and enhance competitive positioning.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing teams, cultivating top talent and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including senior-level decision-makers, to support client retention and business growth.
- Work closely with other departments, including operations and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to market strategy and customer satisfaction.
- Establish performance metrics and regularly assess the team's progress. Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development plans.
- Drive the creation of innovative marketing campaigns and sales strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients.
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget. Monitor financial performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Provide regular updates and strategic insights to the executive team. Prepare and present detailed reports on sales and marketing activities, performance, and forecasts.
- Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to market expansion and sales activities.
VP SALES & MARKETING QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing within the food industry or a similar B2B context, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, drive strategic initiatives, and achieve significant business growth. Experience in developing high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with a proven ability to translate market data and trends into actionable business strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Proven ability to develop networks and partnerships that drive business success.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%. Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This position requires physical efforts such as pulling, lifting, sitting, typing, and standing and walking on concrete floor.
- Visiting manufacturing facilities with exposure to elements such as noise, minable dust, cold and hot temperatures.
- Extreme climate or climate variation.
- Heat up to 100 degrees and low to 40 degrees.
- Changes of >30 degrees within a shift.
- Exposure to manufacturing equipment hazards, especially forklifts.
- Climbing of ladders.
